This page provides valuable fundraising information for all Collegiate families. Please refer to this page often as we strive toward meeting our fundraising goals outlined below. It will require a true TEAM effort -- please take part in continuing the success!
Why is it necessary for Collegiate Aquatics families to take part in fundraising?
- As the team continues to grow, additional money is required to secure needed pool/space time. Collegiate cannot rely entirely on team fees to pay for pool time through rental agreements.
- Collegiate Aquatics lacks a permanent home and is not even able to host a "home" dual meet (the team does not earn income from concession sales or other opportunities gained by hosting meets). Money raised through fundraisers not only affords the capacity to rent pool time for the current season, it permits the team to engage in strategic planning for the development of its own facility (housing a natatorium and fitness space). Fundraising dollars are used to cover professional fees in the design and implementation for Collegiate's future home. Collegiate families' commitment towards fundraising also demonstrates are real commitment to the program which is attractive to investors in Collegiate's future facility.
The coaches and parent fundraising committee leaders recognize that raising additional money on behalf of your swimmer(s) does not come without sacrifice and commitment of time on your part. Therefore we have attempted to offer a menu of opportunities to make this as easy and as affordable as possible.
