The meet will be governed by the current Federation Rules. All Events will be timed finals. There will be one (1) false start rule for all 8&under events.
There will be a scratch meeting and positive check in for the 500Free (Event 45 & 46). Swimmers must provide a timer and counter. Swimmers may enter a maximum of four (4) events. The 500 free does not count towards this maximum. The swimmer’s age will be determined as of December 1, 2013.
The meet directors reserve the right to limit entries in any event to keep the meet timeline within a reasonable limit.

Important Information
Swimmers must enter all 5 events in their division. Entry fee is $20/swimmer.
There is an option to enter longer distance events, however, this division is scored with all ages in that particular session (i.e. 12/under, or 13/over).
You must enter all 5 events at the shorter distance or all 5 events at the longer distance. You may not mix shorter and longer events.
The event numbers should all be in increments of 10 (i.e. a girl entered in event #5,should also be in #’s 15, 25, 35, and 45).
The top 3 swimmers in each division will receive a trophy. The cumulative time of all 5 events will be used to determine the top 3 in each division.
A disqualification or no show in any event makes a swimmer ineligible to be placed in the final scoring.
Depending on entries received, single age events may be swum combined, but will still be scored separately.
Entries for less than 5 individual events will not be accepted

Background:
This Invitational is held in memory of Jeremy Naylor, a 2006 graduate of Dover Area High School. His parents and brother, Eric, are close friends to the Northern York Aquatic Club. In 2008, Jeremy was tragically killed in an automobile accident. This Invitational is a tribute to Jeremy. The money raised from the Invitational will fund a scholarship in Jeremy’s memory which will be awarded to a High School Senior who swims on the NYAC team.

Admission: $3 for adults, Meet Programs will be available for $2.00.
Officials - We are looking for a few more volunteers who might want to assist as swim meet officials, if available, email mike@wsyswim.org
Rules: The meet will be using current 2013 USA Swimming technical rules. All events will be timed finals. 8 and Under swimmers will be allowed one (1) false start. Swimmers will compete in their age group as of 12/1/2013
Awards: Ribbons will be awarded to 1st – 6th place winners. Medals will be awarded to Male and Female high-point winners in each age group. Points are awarded for Individual Events only.
Doors open at 12:00PM. Because of school district policy, we cannot get into the facility before this time. PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY
Open Warm-Ups will begin at 12:15PM with a 1:15 PM Meet Start time.
The following rules will be strictly enforced:
Swimmers will be permitted to sit on the pool deck, in the adjacent hallway, and outside the concession area.
If needed we may utilize the gymnasium for seating. Please assist in keeping the gym floor dry.
Concessions allowed in the concession area only. With the exception of water, no food or drink allowed in the gym or pool area.
No horseplay is permitted which includes running, throwing balls, etc.
Locker room space is limited. Please restrict these areas to swimmers for restroom and changing purposes only.
NO DIVING IN THE SHALLOW END.
SWIMMERS MUST HAVE FOOTWEAR TO LEAVE THE POOL DECK
