USA Swimming A/BB/C Winter Invite * * * A change has been made to the session #3 and #5 warm up and start times. These are the afternoon sessions each day. The new times are a 1:15pm warm-up and a 2:15pm start time which reflects 45 minutes later than was published in the meet entry information. * * * Reminder - Collegiate will be swimming the Hershey Aquatic Club in a sanctioned USA dual meet on the morning of Saturday, January 9 A separate distance session, 500 Free and 200 (age 9-10) and 400 (11 and over) I.M., will be swum on Friday evening, January 9 at Messiah College Psych sheets are updated HERE A preliminary version of the meet timeline (before scratches) is HERE Meet announcement is HERE Locations: Messiah College This meet will be run according to current USA Swimming rules and regulations. Swimmer’s age on the first day of the meet determines age group for the entire competition. USA Swimming Stroke and Turn Clinic The Diplomat Swim Club will host a Stroke and Turn Clinic on Wednesday, January 14. The clinic will begin at 6:30 PM and will be held at the Franklin & Marshall College Aquatic Center, Woods Room, in Lancaster, PA. Please read important Princeton Tiger Invite pre-meet information HERE(pool assignments, warm-up assignments and volunteer assignments). 2015 PTAC Winter Invite Meet Information Meet: Princeton Tiger Winter Invitational 2015 Hosted by Princeton Tigers Aquatics Club If any swimmer would like to attend this meet, please make sure the following steps are followed: 1. Notes: About DeNunzio Pool: DeNunzio Pool was constructed in 1990 with state-of-the-art design and technology, making it among the fastest pools in the nation. The facility is located east of Jadwin Gymnasium. The pool measures 50 meters by 25 yards with a minimum depth of nine feet and a maximum depth of 17 feet. The pool has two movable bulkheads which allow for various course configurations for swimming and water polo. The facility features a fully automatic Colorado timing system with electronic scoring for diving and water polo. The pool building includes complete facilities for diving (one and three meter springboards as well as a 10-meter platform with intermediate towers.) There are bleachers to accommodate 1,700 spectators, men’s and women’s locker rooms, an exercise room, offices, and a conference room in the building. The building and pool are ADA accessible. Caldwell Fieldhouse connects to DeNunzio Pool at deck level and houses additional locker rooms for visiting teams and an athletic training room as well as a connecting tunnel to Jadwin. Hotel Information The preferred team hotel that Collegiate coaches and families have stayed the past few seasons is the Princeton Marriott at Forrestal, NJ. Princeton Marriott at Forrestal, NJ A block of twenty rooms has been reserved for Collegiate Aquatics families. To secure one of the reserved rooms at the group rate, please make reservations before January 2. Collegiate families may call the toll free room reservation number (1-800-943-6709) and indicate you wish to reserve a room under "Collegiate Aquatics". Families may also reserve rooms at the Princeton Marriott using this specific link: The Princeton Marriott is a full-service hotel with a pool, fitness center, jogging/walking trails, and a full-service restaurant. This is the closest Marriott (10-15 minutes) to the Princeton campus. Families can purchase Giant cards to pay for their Marriott reservations.
